On June 19 and 20, 2025, the international ReMade@ARI workshop, titled “Laser Spectroscopy and Photonic Technologies for Circular Economy: Advancing Sustainable Innovations in Material Research and Diagnostics,” took place in Heraklion, Crete.
The IONOS team participated with a presentation titled “Drones Agricultural Spraying Operations Risk Mitigation and Efficacy.” In our presentation, we focused on methods for reducing risks and enhancing the effectiveness of agricultural spraying with drones, thereby highlighting our company’s innovation and expertise in the field.
Special emphasis was also given to our research project ACT PHAST, a collaboration with the Institute of Electronic Structure and Laser (IESL) of FORTH and other international research institutes. ACT PHAST focuses on developing optical fiber sensors for detecting spray drift during drone-based agricultural applications.
This pioneering initiative underscores our commitment to developing precise and environmentally friendly solutions in the agricultural sector, actively contributing to more sustainable agriculture and environmental protection.
Our presence at this significant international event reaffirms our continuous dedication to innovation and the development of sustainable solutions, strengthening our position as a pioneer in agricultural technologies.
