The BIONICE action in rice cultivation was successfully completed. The applications were made according to the IONOS and BASF protocols, which started in mid-June. The project is implemented in accordance with the approved permits of the APA and the Directorate of Plant Protection. The evaluation of the program has given encouraging results and is ongoing.
On 8/31/2023, the first Bait application took place in the Triphylia Regional Unit, within the framework of the EXARCHOS 2023 National program. The program is running successfully for the 2nd year in P.E. Triphylia, and for 4th in the Greek Territory.
The Mapping of the experimental plots in the reginal unit has been completed on Larisa, Messinia, Zakynthos and Lasithi. There is a series of bait sprays that follow the program by the Green Minstry of Rural Development and Food.
IONOS pioneered the creation of a fiber optic sensor development project to detect spray cloud displacement during drone spraying operations. IONOS team with its partners from Agri DS (Koulakioti 76, Chalastra) participated in the 13th Panhellenic Exhibition for Agriculture and Livestock “AgroThessaly” in Larissa, which was held on 9-12 March 2023.
For another year, IONOS participated in the AGRA 2023 exhibition, in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, in collaboration with the Amiti company. AGRA 2023 was organized under the auspices of the Ministry of Agriculture of Bulgaria between 21-25 February 2023 and attracted more than 40,000 visitors.
